Holiday Stress - Bad Habits To Avoid

The holidays are upon us and for most that means increased stress. The added stress of holiday shopping, non-stop activities and travel overwhelm us all. If you are like most people and tend to lose sight of your health goals during the holidays, it's time to refocus on yourself and your veins. Do your best to avoid bad habits that can have a negative impact on your long term vein health. Here are a few tips to help keep your leg veins healthy:

  • When traveling (by car or plane) walk around or stand and stretch as often as possible
  • Avoid crossing your legs while seated
  • Take several short walks each day to increase your exercise
  • Wear low heels whenever possible
