What is digital media marketing?

Digital media marketing goes one step further than internet marketing. It encompasses additional digital channels available outside of the Internet, such as mobile phones and sms/mms advertising. While it expands on internet marketing, it should work in conjunction with your internet marketing strategy. Both should be included in your practices overall marketing strategy, ensuring a targeted and well thought out campaign.

Developing a digital media marketing strategy

With most businesses ending their fiscal year, it’s time to get serious about marketing. In addition to conventional methods, every practice should develop a digital media marketing strategy. It should include a plan for how you will make your practice's message available digitally. Will your focus be on items the customer sources themselves, such as the practice website, listings and blogs? Or will you focus on a push strategy that encompasses advertising such as email newsletters, text messages and other active outreach? Ideally, your practice will incorporate both to be as effective as possible.
